Graphify builds a graph of code and related documents that an assistant can query. Its repository says code parsing runs locally through tree-sitter; an optional semantic pass over documents or media can call a configured backend. Check that boundary before including private material. [1]

## Install the official package

The documented requirements include Python 3.10 or later and uv or pipx. For uv, the package has two trailing y characters: [1]

```bash
uv tool install graphifyy
graphify install --project
```

Run this from the repository you want to configure. The project option writes the assistant skill inside that repository. Review the generated files before committing them. [1]

## Build and inspect the graph

In Claude Code, use the documented skill command: [1]

```text
/graphify .
```

Look in `graphify-out/` for `graph.html`, `GRAPH_REPORT.md` and `graph.json`. The HTML is the visual view; the JSON holds the graph. [1]

Inspect a connection before relying on it. Graphify marks whether edges came directly from source or were inferred, and its query, path and explain commands expose the relationships. Use the linked source file to confirm the result before changing code. [1]
